Solace Day 3

Today we were planning to turn off the T&M and take the Caldon canal at Etruria. This is a really tight, almost 180 degree turn and it would be complicated by a large number of boats attending a rally. The corner was perfectly navigated and while the men filled the water tank, the rest of us went to look at the boats on display and the traders’ stands.

Kat & G went off to find the Nisa store to do some shopping at Cheddleton.


We found a perfect place to moor for the night with woodland beside us and lush fern growth along the water’s edge.
