Lilac...

A much greyer day today and colder too.  I gave in and put the heating on around 2.30pm.  

Didn't stay long in the garden.  Just long enough enjoy the scent coming from this little lilac bush.  It badly needs re-potted and has only a quarter of the flowers that it used to have.  Another thing on the To-Do list.

The builders had hoodies on today so no diet coke break for me.

Have received an email from the builder outlining all the decisions that need to be made re. finishes for the pool tiles, floor tiles and wall tiles for pool area and changing room.  Also floor tiles for the kitchen and garden room.   He's made some suggestions for the pool areas and is getting samples for us to see.  I like them so I am tempted to go with them and not open myself up to the torture of choice by opening the brochure. 

So much to do and think about but putting it all off till next week as we're getting ready for blip visitors this weekend.  My lovely blip pal Sleepyhead is coming tomorrow and staying till Sunday and bringing with him blipper Gitama who's over from Australia.  They've been off on an adventure in the north of Scotland as well as visiting Orkney, Harris and Skye.  

Can't wait to see them (and meet Gitama) and hear all about their adventures.   Hoping the weather will be good enough to let us spend time in the Gin Palace but if not, I have heaters we can take down to it :D
