Admiral's Quarters

After closing Mum's bank account and then paying the subsidiary fees for the funeral, I treated myself to a visit to my favourite place in Portsmouth; the dockyard. I took a tour of H.M.S. Victory (again), for the first time since developing my obsession with Patrick O'Brian's Jack Aubrey novels (from whence my journal gets its name.) This photo shows Admiral Nelson's quarters and the extras show the Admiral's privy (located behind the gentleman in the photograph) and a basic beauty shot because, quite simply, I am smitten with this magnificent vessel.
