A Coaching First

Chris, on the left, is the first of my coachees ever to appear in my journal.   He’s just successfully graduated with his Global Executive Masters in Business Adminstration (GEMBA) from IESE Business School, Barcelona.   Shashidhar, on the right, is a GEMBA from 2015 and while I didn't coach him I coached four of his colleagues.   A GEMBA takes place over sixteen months with modules all around the world in Barcelona, New York, São Paulo and Shanghai and represents an investment of €150,000 per person all in.   Naturally, the graduates look for some kind of payback in terms of job opportunity and improved remuneration afterwards.   I had a session with Chris this morning on the IESE south campus where I did my own MBA several moons ago.   Nice to walk up the stairs and meet my blip!
