Rottnest...just a magic winters break

Rottnest Island is 20km off the coast of Fremantle Western Australia

This jetty in Thompsons Bay is right in front of a cottage we have for 4 nights

Normally full of holiday makers in summer , we enjoy staying in winter when we all but have the island and it's beaches to ourselves

I'm looking forward to 5pm when I will have my first whisky for the day, looking back over the Bay to the lights of Perth... And the workers
