Hubs and I got up at 6.15 to take to the mountains for about 30 km ride. .my sexy light weight carbon bike had to be handed back and now I'm on a hybrid bike heavier than my one at home . It wasn't a long ride but it climbed for 7 km continuously. It wasn't as hard as I thought but I did go pretty steady on the bike. It was a snakey mountain road all the way. Amazing sight.
We were almost the only ones out on the road going out - but by the time we had gone down the other side and out to Bunyola for coffee the place was fully functioning. Market day was in full swing and when the old ladies had bought their fruit & veg they had a beer and cigarette at 10.00 !!

Going back over the col de soller was much harder in the heat and blistering sun. When I got to the top I had a little cry - pure relief that I hadn't needed the emergencies services I expect!
Home and shower and rest for me for the afternoon. Hubs went out and did another massive ride. Can't believe how fit he is.
Beer and orange mountain sunset at 21.00 and it's still 22 degrees .
