Plums

Looks like we finally will have a good crop of Santa Rosa plums! For one reason or another over the years, this lovely tree did not yield much. Now there is a lot of fruit, in so many gorgeous colors of ripening, from pale yellow to, well, deep plum. Not quite ready to pick yet, although I did find a couple of drops for dessert. It's a fine balance, competing with the birds and wildlife. I'm hoping we win.
