A day out

Today, together with two friends we spent a few hours at Cambridge University Botanical Gardens. They are hosting a section of the International Garden Photographer of the Year until 19th June. It is in the open air, very well presented  and well worth a visit. We then had a couple of hours in Cambridge itself.

Today’s blip is from the botanical gardens in one of the glass houses. It is a bloom on one of the shrubs there and I’m sorry I can’t tell you its name but I was taken by its spider like qualities.
