Bye Bye Trees

After countless years of battling with two of the biggest trees at 52, Dad said "enough" and had them cut down by a man. The Maple was always delayed when it came time to autumn, and the large "big leaf" tree (dad has the official name somewhere) always left a mess year round, and it multiplied behind the fence causing me to chainsaw them down during mid summer.

Plenty of view for the airplanes to fly over, and bird watching is much easier. Due to the Maple's big shade, it caused a dry patch of grass. We will work on repairing that in the spring.
