They say that the more cats stretch out, the hotter it is. I have to say, it is very very hot! I believe it was about 27 / 28°C. I'm surprised the good hot weather has lasted this long - it's not even rained a tiny bit!

Because my school has about 3 weeks before we leave for summer holidays after exams finish, we have those 3 weeks of timetable change. So, we all go into the classes that we'll be in after summer.

Therefore, today was my first day back at school after study leave and I'm now officially in my last year of school!. That feels very odd and I'm not sure I like it! This year I'm doing Advanced higher art, Advanced higher history, crash higher graphics and crash higher geography and I have 6 free periods scattered amongst those too. Although I may drop geography if all goes to plan and I pass the higher history exam I did just last month!

It's all very exciting being in new classes again after being in the same 6 classes for highers for two years!

There was supposed to be a thunderstorm later on in the day but that didn't seem to happen and so, everything remains all dusty and dried up.

I was teaching at the sailing club tonight, it was great fun, particularly because of the heat. The kids in my group all decided to simultaneously chuck several buckets of water on my head. It wasn't bad though because I was too warm by that point anyway!
