Botanical Gardens

Today we caught the bus back into the centre of Cambridge and visited the University's Botanical Gardens.  This was excellent, and we filled up our day despite originally thinking we'd run out of things to see there.  We finally caught the bus back to our cottage just before 6pm.

After dinner in the cottage we took a drive out to a local viewpoint hoping to see Ely Cathedral and photograph the sunset.  We succeeded on the first count, but failed on the second - we just couldn't find a view of the setting sun.
