Amazing delphinium

Well dad has had surgery and is sitting up in bed looking relieved that they did manage to do it keyhole. I can't say much as to what has happened as it is subject to a hospital enquiry and I don't want to speak out of turn, but the important thing (for now) is that dad is on the mend.
These flowers are in their garden and are much further on than mine.
