New lens, full aperture

I got myself a new lens today.  Right now it’s more or less manual.  The aperture is set to wide open and the image is a bit blurred.  But it will be better within the next few days the surgeon assured me. I have been diagnosed with cataract in my left eye and today it was time to replace the lens.  The whole visit at the hospital took less than thirty minutes.  I am so grateful for the excellent medical care we (still) have.
