Glendoick Rhododendrons Blooming

Fifteen years ago in the woodland area of the garden I decided to plant about forty rhododendrons of different colours ,leaf shapes,flower shapes and different flowering times from early March to mid July.I was recommended to buy category 4 or 5 because of our severe frosts ,and not in pots...bare root?,from Glendoick Nurseries in Dundee.What a wise move..all have lived ,indeed flourished despite some awful winters and this year the woodland is vibrant with colour .
