Hot and dry

This is not a complaint.  Apart from a modest shower of rain a couple of afternoons ago, there has been very little precipitation for some time.  The garden could do with it.

It does mean that the Cooriedog walk is very dusty.  The large puddles which offer her some opportunity to muddy up to the distress of others are just areas of cracked and dried mud with a beauty all of its own.  And Cooriedog avoids a hose down when we get back.
