Before and After

I continued gardening today and today’s picture is one of the borders, after it had been weeded; the before is included as an extra. I also did another small border. The dead shrub is an Elder, which we have poisoned, but it has not yet been taken out; it is useful for hanging bird feeders on at the moment.
 
Again it was very hot and my back and legs continue to ache. Bo had a surprise visitor today; his human Mummy came to see him before she went on holiday. She played with him all afternoon, so he did not need a short walk with me this evening.

I moved some of our bird feeders during the afternoon to this border as the mock orange shrub that they are usually in has also died and is waiting to be taken out.
