Huddersfield Narrow Canal
As we were giving a talk to Huddersfield Photo Imaging Club in the evening we decided to leave home early enough to have some R & R en route. We didn't have a lot of spare time but did manage a short walk along the tow path from Marsden to the Standedge Tunnel Visitor Centre. Just as we set out on our walk the rain started to fall. The canal is the highest navigable waterway in Britain and goes from Huddersfield in West Yorkshire to Ashton Under Lyne, near Manchester.
We didn't get home until after midnight so this had to be a back blip.
