Why did the pheasant cross the road?

Day 2

We came across thousands of young pheasants on a back road near Aviemore. Couldn't believe it.

We were on our way to The Potting Shed Tearoom at Inshriach Nursery. The cakes are to die for. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

To make up for the indulgence, we parked a distance from Loch An' Eilein, and walked right round, about five miles in all I think.
