What lays beneath.

I don't know what the woodwork in this house was originally painted with all those many years ago but it's like a paint on putty. It's on everything I've stripped - doors, skirting boards, window frames.
And don't believe Georgian houses were all white woodwork. I've discovered a myriad of colour schemes underneath.
