Super Size Me
It's Health and Fitness week at Anna's school and one of her classmates was talking about the Morgan Spurlock film Super Size Me. So tonight we watched the film. The power of education...this is the pudding plate Anna got to snack on whilst we were watching.
It is of course alarming. And I'm pretty confident (?) some things have changed in the 12 years since it was made. I wonder what hasn't though.
In a tenuous medical segue...Carl continues to research and develop hypotheses about J's journey and it turns out that blip is proving to be remarkably useful for remembering what has happened when. Which also means it may continue to be so you're stuck with more trivia about J's day to day (you should feel free to develop your own theories too and if there are any medics lurking do raise your hands).
Today's notable news is that J once again had a difficult afternoon - his pattern seems to be dipping around 3pm and then coming back around 7pm. I have a call out to the nurse to see if there is anything different we can to help with this. The good news is that he is still able to do more so today before the dip he has played with Albi in the garden and this evening we all played Exploding Kittens before bedtime.
