Birthday part 2

I had my second birthday today, courtesy of Naomi (who was off last week) and Rosie (who forgot).

I got a bottle of prosecco from Rosie (always a good choice) and from Naomi I got a 'grow your own' Rose plant, a lovely silver friendship bracelet and a box of sweeties :-)

It's nice working with people who are also good friends. All the gang got me really nice gifts (which I collected last week) so I've been well and truly spoilt.

After tea, we visited Mum to deliver her meds that Mr A collected from the doctors for her. She's struggling to cook as she can't bend down to the oven, so has been living on soup!
She needed more bread and milk too, so we popped to Tesco and got a few ready meals for her. She can easily access the microwave and although they're not ideal, we've got the healthier option ones so at least she gets some meat and veg and a bit of variety.

She's really managing to get herself around the house and seems to be adapting to being one legged. Hopefully it won't be for too long.
