Thaxted

Took a walk around the nearby village of Thaxted, in Essex. The main shot is of the Windmill viewed across a field of barley, with the steeple of the Parish Church (one of the largest in Essex) in the background.

Thaxted is full of interesting buildings and the extras show the Guildhall and an old house reputed to be have once been the home of Dick Turpin
