Foxgloves

For the second day running, I left the sun in Wooler and drove to a much cooler, cloudier Berwick for work!

Raining hard - just a short, heavy shower - as I arrived home though, but nothing like the flash floods they had in London and other parts of the UK today. Bumped in to our friend Janet as I was getting out of the car, so she came in for a drink and then accompanied MrM and I on our walk round the Common with Louie. The foxgloves there are beginning to flower.

MrM went to a gypsy jazz practice this evening, but my plans for tackling some admin ground to a halt when the power went off for 90 minutes. Some unexpected free time meant that I actually picked up my mandolin for the first time in months weeks...
