Afternoon Tea

Afternoon tea which lasted three hours at The Waldorf with Pauline and Carol. They have been my school friends since I was 11 years old and we were convent grammar school girls! When we are together we don't seem any more grown up than when we were at school.

Not the most exciting tea but it came with a glass of champagne. The Waldorf seems a bit faded and in need of an update. But having advertised the tea being a 90 min event, after 3 hours nobody hurried us to leave.

A quick cup of tea in St Martin in the Field's crypt cafe (,no Belgian buns today, civila) before saying goodbye. A lovely day with good friends.
