re-erection

Back to normal work routine where I spent Wednesday in town and have the opportunity to go for a wander. The weather turned out to be rather nice again. Walked over the Grass Market, via the Vennel back along Chamber St. The new public space is coming along and the plinth for the statue of William Chambers is getting re-erected. It is slightly moved and I think there is going to be another statue. It is a shame they didn't take the opportunity to close Chamber Street to traffic.
