Lull before the storm

Which has just arrived with a skyfall of rain accompanied by one rather pathetic rumble of thunder - the air is a little refreshed now and the rain continues.  Thank goodness,  as its been a rather dry spell of late, not complaining of course, but it has been very hot and sticky;   the gardens, allotments, crops and lawns to name but a few must be loving some rain at last. but that'll do for a while!
