Bugloss?

Another trip up to the allotment, for a bit of watering and more tidying. It was good to see Clark and Kit again, C looking a little better than last time I saw him.

I think I emptied an old packet of wildflower seeds in this general area a year or two back. We have a nice patch of marguerites and this tall spike which has only opened into blue flowers today, (Yesterday I was just looking at pink flower buds). After a determined effort I think I've remembered that it's Viper's Bugloss, Echium vulgare - although happy to be corrected!
