Seventeen and counting

My milkman forgot my delivery and so I had to go out for milk for my breakfast. I got home at six o'clock after sitting watching the vagaries of the wildlife on the Broadmeadow Estuary...... I could do that most days and still learn something new.

The Mallard hen, I am told, may be watching other hens' chicks while they feed. Either way it was good to watch her orchestrate their every move.....Amazing....just saying
