I post this blip in homage to Snapper's home decorating skills.

The Dower House occupants' home decorating skills came to nought this morning when His Lordship and I made a foray into town to look at colourful plates to decorate a wall.

We had seen how lovely they looked in the flat we visited on Monday and thought they would look good in ours too. The mistake we made was in not having agreed beforehand on which wall they should grace.
Since His Lordship has assumed the right to be the arbiter of good taste and superior interior design with final vetoing powers, we left with nothing and walked home separately.

I am biding my time............watch this space.
