People of Norway - Bjørg

I am happy to introduce to the internet to one of the most awesome women I know, my adopted grandmother Bjørg. She's Marius' neighbour on Tåtøy and at 84 years young is still going strong. Strong as in last summer she was going to throw the winter's supply of firewood in the basement by herself until Marius and I said no, we'd do it. She helped us anyway and when we would sit down to take a break and drink water she'd still be going.

She's got a giant chow chow named Bamse (Teddybear) and it's not unusual to see her walking him around the island. Her husband suffered some ill health but is on the mend now, and his doctor has ordered him to get some light exercise. She'll kick him out of the house, and then a few minutes later come after him with the dog to make sure he's walking!

Today was the last day of painting, and then we went over to Tåtøy to pack up all our stuff. Tomorrow is moving day!
