Out Numbered

Saturday, we were up early and out of the house.  The Hubby went to do some things with a friend, and Sugar and I headed to the new location for her school next year.  Oddly enough...it is the school building she went to for Kindergarten.  That was the last year the school was open.  It has been sitting vacant.  Fun to see that some of the things in her Kindergarten classroom were still there.  Her name was on the bulletin board....and these numbers....they indicated where they were to hang their backpacks.  We can't remember which number she was.  We spent the morning helping clean up for new paint.  It is a HUGE job. The place is a mess.  It felt good to pitch in.  

Afterwards, we went to a friend's restaurant for lunch.  It was so delicious, and our waitress was top notch!  Fun to see my friend in action.  

We stopped by home quickly, and then headed in the other direction to visit with a friend who was having a garage sale.  Sugar wanted to see baby "B" (now a toddler), and give her one of Sugar's old dolls.  It was so sweet.  The weather was so HOT.  I quickly grew tired (from too many carbs), and we headed home.  

It was a quiet evening at home.  Just the way we like it.
