The Cape
A wet, cold and windy day in Cape Town spent enjoying the sights on the open top tour bus. Stopped off at Kirstenbosh National Botanical Garden for a walk amongst the trees and spiders - there were lions and dinosaurs, I believe, here at one point - before back on the bus for an unarranged detour, due to a road accident, through Cape Town's answer to Beverly Hills. A seat on the top deck ensured we got a good neb over the electrified walls and fences of the enormous, luxurious residencies of the local rich kids - a sharp contrast to the township standards of living we passed earlier.
Final destination was a meal at Karibu at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Fillet steak with chilli chocolate sauce to follow - those of a nervous disposition should now look away from their screens - crocodile carpaccio.
