Autumn sunlight.
Rushing around doing lots of tasks hat were sidelined while it was raining. Today's shot is of our Weeping Cherry with the late afternoon sunlight streaming through the foliage. As lovely as the tree is and as romantic the image, the reality is when it flowers ant the warm Australian Spring and gusty winds arrive in tandem, the beautiful lowers are striped within days. Several years ago the buds were about to burst on the Friday, we went away for the weekend and when we returned on the Monday all the petals were on the ground. Hope the weather where you are is getting warmer and brighter.
