Hey! Where Did Summer Go?

My Dear Fellow,

So something a bit experimental today, because I don't have a panoramic setting on my iPhone. Instead I took three pictures and tried to splice them together. I call this effect "sort of sh1tty", but you get the idea.

The reason for this picture is that today's lunchtime was spent walking in the sunshine by the railway line next to the Gyle. Well, that was the intent. About 20 minutes in, and enjoying the warm sun, I suddenly felt a chill and the world went dark. 

Hopefully the picture conveys this. You can see the lovely blue sky over on the left and then OMINOUSLY HOVERING above me is a black, black cloud. From inside the cloud emanated noises like God had eaten the world's most dangerous burrito.

Needless to say, I did not want to be under the cloud when the burrito came out. So I scuttled back to work. Apparently it rained hard for about 5 minutes and then - PING - summer again. But I'm glad I scuttled. I am not a brave man plus it would have RUINED my glamorous hairdo.
