Floral emergency

Late night snap of some flowers, with G&T debris forming a fetching backdrop. Life sure is different when Mr B is in town.

Lots of admin today. Great news that after eight weeks Toyota have condescended to take responsibility for the duff alternator they installed in April at massive expense. Other great news that the NHS records office have a much friendlier face (voice) and more efficient service than last time I had dealings with them. Later, the kids were horrified to learn that we weren't kidding about there being a Henry VI part 2 (though on the plus side it rolled in part 3), and I was crushingly depressed about the referendum. I took refuge in telly-land.

For the garden record: nearly at the end of the broad beans, and we have our first baby tomatoes. And the first rose on the big old bush is out.
