inspired by fern spores

I have had a few ferns in a vase to add a bit of green to some hydrangeas. Adrian noticed this morning that the vase was surrounded with a layer of dust. We realised that the fern was shedding its spores. This is what we saw.

It's amazing what is going on under our noses. It's a wonder we haven't been sneezing!
