In the city
Took the train into Glasgow today, as the HG had some business to attend to. Passed the fireman statue outside the Grand Central Hotel, and walked up to Sauchiehall Street, where we parted company, me to have a wee look at the wares in Watt Bros, which is such an old fashioned store and one of the few old department stores left here.
Of course, I found things to buy, not just for me but also for the HG, and good prices too, so it was not a wasted trip.
Meanwhile, the HG finished his business and we met up again, and as we had some gift vouchers left over from Christmas we had lunch in Carluccios, and it was lovely. They do lovely Pear Juice, and I always have some when I am there.
Uploaded a couple of extra photos today.
Home on the train to sunbathe in the garden for a bit with my book, and then to Hunter House to book on for our walk on Saturday. The HG stayed a while to chat, while I walked home as I wanted a leg stretch.
Another warm and sunny day.
