Colourful Caterpillar

Lots of insect photos today, they all seemed to be drying off on the vegetation after a very heavy shower. Great news for me! :-)

In the extras is a photo of a Robin which seems to be suffering with a case of feather mite (according the RSPB website anyway), which is a bit gruesome to look at but apparently doesn't do the bird any great harm and usually the feathers come back at the next moult. Poor thing... it can't be pleasant!
