BLACKIE PLUS

Fortunate to have a blackbird nesting in the rose bush on the side of the garage. The nest is build around the bush and TV aerial cables. It even sways in the wind - so sleep is no problem.

She seems very happy for me to be near and I cannot go anywhere until I know she is back safely on the nest.

A quick look this week has shown three blue eggs. One hatched on Tuesday. Another Wednesday (but Tuesday Chick does not look well at all!) Used a mirror for a quick look.

Found Mr Blackie, perched on the edge of the nest, feeding Mum today. Not had a chance to peep into the nest - but she is safely tucked up and doing her job.
