Cygnets

It was so nice to see a pair of Mute swans with their young today; every other time I've visited, there's been just the one. I think there were four cygnets in all and they soon got out of sight by approaching the bank. They had the pond all to themselves except for a typically noisy seagull teaching its fluffy, grey chicks to fly. I could have watched them for ages, but got the feeling they'd rather I cleared off.
