Recycling today!

The items sitting on the work bench in the garage could have been thrown out, but a little bit of effort has given them a new life.

The kitchen roll holder and the clothes brush were G'dads. The mug tree and hand mirror are mine. All had seen better days, but with the original coating stripped off, staining if required and new polish (either polyurethane or shellac) they will either serve a new purpose (wool holder) or their original function for a few more years.

I will check out the brush and mirror tomorrow to see if they need more polishing.

The day was interrupted 5 times with unsolicited calls, 4 from oversees and one from the Red Cross wanting money.

I will not get started on this subject!!! It makes me very reluctant to answer the phone and if I do pick up, to actually speak!!! Might just let everything go on to voicemail and call back any relevant callers!!!
