Pottery Kilns?

...or they may be Oast Houses. What do I know? They might have been windmills. Sometimes my ignorance amazes me. I think my thirst for knowledge was sated when I understood why pyramid tea bags are actually better than the flat square ones  (I know, I thought it was just advertising jibber jabber, but they really are better).
