BEE

The only time to be in the garden this week is very early or late.  The bees were frantically busy as I went out this evening, dodging the sprinkler to get at the raspberry flowers  - so much nectar, so little time. 

I've been pricking out cabbage and sprouts, potting up and planting out annuals and hoeing the leeks and beans.  I'm growing kohlrabi for the first time this year - at the request of a prairie boy.  Well, this is prairie weather, so they may just thrive.
