Laid Bare

I've attended a workshop today at Calumet called Art Nude Laid Bare which was run by Jayce Clarke. This is the third Calumet workshop I've attended and the second one with Jayce and each time I come away learning a little more about lighting.

I was desperate, despite the workshop type, to produce an image that I could share on here today and so one of the techniques we used was bodyscapes. The model was 29 weeks pregnant (although you'd never guess from the size of her bump) and so we could play around with the way the light could wrap around her enhanced curves. I think this image particularly captures the changes of a woman's body during maternity and probably the image I am most pleased with from the day.
