Loch Venachar

The hot weather just goes on and on. Rhetorical question - why would you go anywhere but home on days like today?

This is Loch Venachar in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Lovely lunch at the Brig o Turk Tearoom followed by homemade raspberry and elderflower ice cream at the Lochside Cafe. A top day.

The extra shows some of the old and gnarled roots that have had to be dug up to lay the new garden path. Not much further progress to record though more hardcore was delivered, and laid, which must have been punishing work in this heat.
