Common Blue Damselflies

It's getting to the time of year when I get completely absorbed in the wildlife, and it's hard to keep an eye on the time!

It was quite late in the morning and the damsels were quite active, so I thought I was lucky to catch this pair.

A strange morning too, as the cafe where I usually get my coffee has gone to pasture new, so I've had to choose another one. I've opted for one in the gardens which has a lovely view over the lake.

I've added an extra from a quick dash up into the loft when I arrived home from work around 9.30pm. I could just see the sunset as I drove home, so wanted to grab a shot before it disappeared. So it's a surburban skyline.
