Nobbys underwater

The break wall has taken a pounding these last few days with huge swells.  Fortunately we seem to have avoided the damage Sydney and other areas have had.  The Esplanade was closed though to traffic with sand and other debris on the road.  I have never seen so many plastic bottles and items washed up on the harbour beach.  Such a shame to think of all that in our water ways.

While I was on the break wall there was a bit of bird action going on.  A kestrel was chased by some ravens and a kite was doing a bit of chasing itself.  I have put them in the extras and glad I had the missile launcher on at the time.
