Sailing

After hours of work on her, Mike was finally able to set sail in Peridot on what was the best day possible weather-wise.  It was a tricky manoeuvre, as the slip is very steep, but we managed it with the help of Vincent and his tractor for the last bit.  

This is the first time we have ever had Peridot on the water, the sails came with her and have never been used, so it was quite a day!  Such a feeling of satisfaction to see her in the bay, looking so beautiful and to be able to see her from every room in the house, except the toilet!  

Great to see Mike so happy, in his element, out on the water under sail, after all his hard work over the winter and spring.  A super day and a very tired man!
