A Right Royal Knees Up

I won two tickets to this great show by the Royal Theatrical Fund at the Theatre Royal Haymarket by coming up with its' name 'A Right Royal Knees Up' at their Christmas drink last year!  My brother (see extra of him with the Pearly King of Lambeth) took me to the Christmas drink so naturally I invited him along to the show.

Emma Thompson, don't know, pearly queen and King, Rosemary Ford, Rob Brydon, Joanna Lumley, Derek Jacobi, Imelda Staunton, then not sure until bleached out flag waving lady is Janie Dee, Natascha McElone, Stephanie Cole, then not sure until Robert Lindsay holding a bowler hat... Also in the picture are Wayne Sleep, Peter Polycarpou, Snjeev Bhaskar, Samantha Bond, Jim Carter, Michael Ball, Darren Bennett, Meera Syal, Brian Conley, Maggie Smith, mark Knopfler, Oompah Brass and Maureen Lipman!  We also had recorded messages from Dame Judi Dench and Michael Palin!
It was thrilling to see all these amazing people on stage, the evening was hosted by Robert Lindsay and Rob Brydon, Imelda Staunton sang a beautiful song accapella which made me cry, her voice is beautiful, I must find out what it was, Janie Dee sang a great song too and was very charismatic and funny, Michael ball sang two, Mark Knopfler came on to play for Robert and Rob which was very funny, Wayne Sleep tap danced and Emma danced with Robert and sang a couple of songs with him, Derek Jacobi recited some Shakespeare at the end, it was a very relaxed fun evening, lots of laughter and singing along and we ended with The Lambeth Walk.
