Party Island

What began as an idea to go to the lake for a peaceful day ...and it did begin that way as can be seen in upper left picture of the collage...ended up an absolute zoo with more than six of these large floating "party islands"....numerous---too many to count inner tubes and floatables. Most weren't wearing life jackets so the lake scene began dangerous looking to us...it's a very very deep lake and no life guards.
  Onshore zillions with dogs barking, yipping, lots of loud yelling, boom boxes...it became almost hilarious and so Big R and I packed up and returned home, eating lunch along the way back.  The temps were in the nineties so it really was lovely in the earlier part of the escape!!!
